I was discriminated by language and HR declined to talk with me and continue the interview process. Ukraine law allows multiple speaking languages in non-official communication and official communication where services provided outside of Ukraine (our case). I am not government employee and my native language is Russian even though I am citizen of Ukraine. There is no law to restrict this on the contrary it protects other languages. But this company seems to be above the law. They required to speak Ukrainian internally, I told that I would feel more comfortable to speak in either Russian or English (both languages they understand, English is in their requirements).
