I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lendi (Sydney) in Oct 2020
Interview
Pretty simple interview. They are more focused on aptitude over attitude. Make sure to dress well as they are focused on the little things like that. Do the interview in a quiet place, they commented on people doing the interview in cars.
Spoke to the recruiter and after initial discussion, a time was setup for the technical test online on zoom they called it pair programming, but it was nothing like that. They did not help if any question I was asking, they kept interuppting me with technical questions constantly and i couldn't concentrate on what i was doing.
In the two guys, one was okay, the other one though, omg he was quite rude, ruthless and seemed absolutely uninterested, had a very straight face and kept stairing with anger all the time.
Test was pretty simple to use react code base that they provided. Very lengthy though.
The vibes were sooooooooo negative that even if i had made it, i would never join this team, would never want to work with this person at least.
Applied via LinkedIn. The recruiter reached out immediately almost a day or two after I applied.
No time frame was mentioned of how long the call with take. Just questions about past experience, standard questions about role.
Overall the role was quite a strong fit. I asked couple of questions about flex and all.
Strange thing, I was told next process will be I'll hand off your CV to someone and then most likely get a call back. I didn't get any calls for 2 weeks and then a generic auto responder saying too bad we had too many applications and urs didn't stood out!
I was like that was a sheer waste of time.
