I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at LawnStarter (Quezon City, National Capital Region) in Feb 2026
Interview
It was seamless, and I was able to be interviewed in a timely manner. The interviewer is accommodating and friendly. Definitely one of the best interviews that I have had, and it was an amazing experience.

Question 1
My previous experience and how I handle difficult customer.
I applied online. I interviewed at LawnStarter in Feb 2026
Interview
The HR screening was very well conducted and the process felt organized and professional from the beginning. The second interview was with the hiring manager and followed a structured WHO interview format. The conversation was respectful, clear, and focused on understanding real experience. I also appreciated that feedback was provided immediately after the interview, which showed transparency and consideration for the candidate.
Applied online and received an email to connect a couple days later. The recruiter I met wasn't the one who connected with me.
The screening interview was more of a grilling interview. The recruiter would use all 45 minutes and didn't even ask if I had questions. I had to stop them to ask my questions at the end though I didn't really receive any answer as the "recruiter" didn't have any.
The next day, I received that "After careful review (sic!), we will go forward with someone whose background matches our needs more closely" -- email coming from yet another recruiter. Like they didn't know my "background"? I suppose they didn't look at my resume at all first, indeed.
Last but definitely not least, based on the ongoing reactions of the recruiter I met, I'm inclined to say there's a not so slight age prejudice.
All in all, thats was a huge waste of my time, I found them very disrespectful, and that company is definitely not a company I'd want to work with (or for, even).
