      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Lattice (Vancouver, BC) in May 2022

      Interview

Process: Applied through the recruiter, the full interview process took only a week and I think they could have moved faster had I wanted to. Interview: I was blown away by the interview process, in no small part because Devin, the recruiter who reached out to me, was incredibly helpful. I was already at the end of a few interview loops but I was very interested in Lattice and he was able to really expedite the process for me and went above and beyond in keeping me informed and comfortable throughout the whole process. Beyond my great experience with Devin, everyone I met on the team was incredibly warm, welcoming, and smart. Interviews make me feel very nervous and this was one of the few times where I actually ended up enjoying the process. As for the interview break down, there was a conversation with the Director of Engineering, a conversation with a Product Manager, and three coding interviews: - one UI based HTML & CSS - one vanilla JS challenge that builds on top of each section -one full stack system design question It sounds like a lot, but they all really made it feel more like a pairing session, and the questions were fair and practical.
