The interview process is pretty rediculous you basically just sit and chat for 5 -10 minutes and then move on to training. The training is great because it gives you chance to see what its like inside the store and you get to see how the sales process works first hand.
The process from submitting resume to first day of work took a LONG time. Three interviews, Then a formal offer, then intense background checks/drug tests, the usual paperwork plus some, then training, then part time (even if the opening was full time, you will start part time), THEN if you're lucky you get full time. If you are serious about this and do well you'll get more shifts. If you don't do well, you are easily replaceable. Your job will always be posted online so Keep in mind that they're constantly interviewing other people for your job. "Job security"? Not much. My advice- sell like your job depends on it- because it does!
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at LaserAway in Nov 2015
Interview
I received an email if I would be available for phone interview. Wrote her back right away. Didn't hear back till week later at that point she asked if I could come in for in person interview. Never did a phone interview.
I met with Brock. We had coffee and I told him about my experience. There wasn’t really any questions that caught me off guard. Mostly just emphasizing that it is a sales position. From the interview I was surprised how quickly they put me in the location to sell and start working with LaserAway.
