Application
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lane Bryant in Nov 2019
Interview
One of the most comfortable interviews I have been on. Lane Bryant does a good job of creating a warm environment and the managers seemed happy to have a viable candidate to help relieve the stress of some scheduling issues.
I applied online and hadn't gotten any response for a few weeks so I called the store and they got me in a couple days later. The interview was largely conversational. I was told about responsibilities, asked about my interest in the company, and mostly talked about what the particular store needs at the moment and how I might fill those needs. I was put through to a second interview by the district manager the same day.

Question 1
What is your experience selling clothes? How do you build a relationship with a customer so that she wants to buy from you?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lane Bryant (Columbia, SC) in Oct 2013
Interview
The interview was a group interview. They were looking for women that were fashion forward , were familiar with the brand, knowledgeable about current fashion trends. CONFIDENCE IS KEY. If you look fabulous (business casual is appropriate for the interview because my interviewer had on jeans) and feel fabulous that will show. Confidence and knowledge about fashion in the plus size sense will definitely push you the right directions.
