Laka interview questions

A company that presents itself as friendly, supportive and people-oriented. Couldn’t be further from the truth. I got contacted to set up an initial interview and asked if I could make tomorrow. I put my time aside at short notice to make the interview. I shortly got invited to a second interview in that same week. Once again I put time aside at short notice to make the interview. Told I would hear back by Friday. No response. I follow up, ignored. I follow up again, ignored again. By the next Friday I knew that even if they meant NEXT Friday they had still not fulfilled their promise. I followed up again with a much more direct tone and lo and behind I get a reply immediately, fobbing me off by saying I WAS still in the running but that actually they were going back for more fundraising so they weren’t hiring for the role anymore. They must think I was born yesterday to believe that. After the accommodations I made for Laka I was rewarded with blatant disrespect. I put my time aside at short notice and was discarded without so much as a word, ignored even when I make an effort to chase them up. I was keen on the role but after the way I was treated I could not want it less. An unfortunate reminder of the contempt that people are treated with in the job market today. “Never close the door to anyone that comes our way” though!
