Applied online. Phone call to set up an interview within a week. Had interview with store manager. Basically, was offered job on the spot. She wanted to place me in the deli or bakery department, but our conversation convinced her I would be a good fit for the front end.

you apply, and then they email you about scheduling for an interview for me it was like a day or two after i had sent in the application and then they schedule an interview like 2 days after you apply and you go
Applied on the companies website for a cashier position. Later a phone call interview with an associate working at the location where information and responsibility was shared. Position offer was emailed along with start date.
