The interview process at Knight Law Group lasted over 3 months. Given the salary they advertised, I understood the thoroughness, but the experience still felt frustrating.
After a month of no contact, I went through three phone interviews, followed by two in-person interviews. I lived in a different city, and though they initially asked if I could fly in at my own expense, I agreed and traveled on short notice.
During the first in-person interview, I was unexpectedly told the position—originally advertised as hybrid—would actually be fully in-office. I felt blindsided but continued with the process, thinking the opportunity might be worth it.
Shortly after, they asked me to fly in again, with little flexibility on timing. I made the trip again, trusting the process. I was told I’d hear back within a week. I never did.
In total, I spent over $400 on travel for this opportunity—and never received any follow-up.
Ironically, I later met a former employee who shared that the firm reportedly struggles with high turnover, demanding hours, and lower-than-market pay for the workload.
Though I was disappointed at first, I’m ultimately relieved I didn’t get the position. If you’re applying, I’d recommend doing the whole interview process via zoom.
I interviewed at Knight Law Group (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2023
Interview
Phone screeen was easy, in person interview with ugh panel, then got call on decision . Fast and smoother process it was cute and fast. Good feedback good and fast process
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Knight Law Group (Beverly Hills, CA) in Feb 2023
Interview
Interview process was straight forward. The firm made a written offer and then PULLED the offer after I questioned some of the terms that seemed a little odd; including requiring a minimum of 50 hours in a standard work week. It took well over a week for them to respond, and then told me they were no longer interested and wanted someone with a completely different background and discipline.
