Kelly Tours interview questions

I was asked to interview within a few days of submitting my application online. I met with the president of the company and two other employees from Marketing and Admin departments. I was told I was their first applicant to be interviewed, since they hadn't planned on their Graphic Designer of 3 years leaving the company, and had other applicants to interview as well. The interview was standard, I was asked the usual questions about my experience and portfolio, as well as the expectations of the job. That is, until I was asked questions about my citizenship and family status. Then after the interview wrapped up, I was emailed by one of the employees involved in the interview that there was a shift in the department and that there were no longer seeking to fill the position.
