I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at KYNE
Interview
Interviews were planned quickly which I appreciated. The first interviews seemed to go well. Initially felt mutual enthusiasm. In final rounds, I was made deeply uncomfortable when asked very personal questions about how I was financially supporting myself while job hunting/who I was living with. I just don't see how something so personal and frankly, intrusive is relevant to a professional interview. Lack of eye contact was also off putting. I did get a sense of rushed questions and gotcha moments in certain interview rounds, vs authentic conversation. And compared to other rounds. Overall, the interview process took place within a month and was not difficult.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at KYNE (London, England) in Feb 2022
Interview
Was contacted via HR to arrange an interview via Zoom with the US based Creative Director. Interview was relatively straightforward, discussing portfolio, experience and what the role involved. Lasted approx half hour.
I never received any feedback or response from the company, so followed-up twice, once 10 days after the interview, they said they were still interviewing. 2nd time approx 5 weeks later, just really to get confirmation that it was not going anywhere.
Contacted HR and received an automatic response 5 minutes later saying they were pursuing more experienced applicants. No problem with not getting the job, that happens, but at least have the decency to tell the applicant you've moved on. Poor.
