I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Just Auto Insurance (Phoenix, AZ) in Jan 2024
Interview
Difficult management doesn’t know what they want, you can tell by the amount of interviews needed before a decision is made. Male made me seem very little like I wasted his time

Question 1
They asked me about my work experience which I had lots of insurance experience but as soon as he heard I didn’t go to college or that I had a short stint doing seasonal work it was like I was beneath him

Interview
Overall the process was pretty casual given that they're a small startup. I did the phone screen, then met with the hiring manager who moved me to the final round of interviews (3 total).
Well, I got through the first two which went well enough. Then there was a delay for the last one as the last interviewers were out for several days. Come next week, I get the BS 'it was a close call but we went with another candidate'.
Seriously? At least let me see the process out until the end. Pretty unprofessional and disrespectful of people's time if you ask me. I get that competition is stiff and companies have to find the best fit, but if you're going to send people for the final round, give each one of them a fair chance and see through it until the end.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Just Auto Insurance
Interview
Met with Dan and discussed what was needed. Questions were all related to past experience. Fairly simple. More of a fit interview than experience. Most difficult question: What is the most difficult experience you have had in your life and how did you handle it?
