Started with description of background, then series of technical questions about transforms, robot kinematics, controls, and some coding related to controls. Questions were generally straightforward, but some preparation is useful.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked to determine the end effector pose of a robotic arm based on joint angles, then asked about end effector velocity based on joint velocities
HR was not interested at all. They called me and rejected 1 hour after, it looked like they had already had someone. The Hiring Manager was also rude. Don't know why people behave like that wasting time.
I applied online. I interviewed at Intuitive (Sunnyvale, CA) in Jun 2026
Interview
30-minute recruiter screening, 30-minute hiring manager interview, followed by a 3-hour technical interview. The final round was a 5-hour onsite interview, which required a presentation of a personal project as well as mini case studies asking about thought process and troubleshooting issues that have occurred on site.
