The position was portrayed as one heavy in architecture and DevOps. Instead, I was given specific programming questions and was forced to work in languages I had no familiarity with because the interviewer didn't know the languages I was familiar with. As a result, I struggled with basic syntax and couldn't step forward at all. Interviewer was looking for a specific solution and wasn't screening for understanding or expertise in subject matters relevant to the actual work that would be performed on the job.
