How would you define active recruiting?
Anonymous
I believe in the power of active recruiting, which involves proactively searching for the best-suited candidates instead of waiting for them to submit their resumes. As a recruiter, it is crucial to take the initiative in promoting the company's position and mission to potential candidates. For instance, if we're struggling to find a physiotherapist for an open position because the most talented individuals are already employed, I would personally visit the clinic or office where they work and introduce both the company and myself over a casual coffee or snack. I understand that these talented individuals are busy with their current work commitments. Therefore, the purpose of the visit would be to establish a genuine connection with them. Establishing a genuine connection is paramount when it comes to recruiting the ideal talent. Additionally, I would also leverage network recruitment methods to identify potential candidates who are actively seeking job opportunities and are known by individuals within our network.
