How do you manage weaknesses?

My approach is straight which sometimes make people unhappy when they are told of their faults. But now I have improved by learning from one of my supervisors who has a capability to hide his true emotions when dealing with difficult people or wrong doings. I was surprised to see that despite he is very angry from inside, he was able to keep his emotions, able to keep himself call and talk to people in a very friendly manner.
