How do you feel about Knowledge Sharing?
Anonymous
Knowledge Sharing is a vitally important part of the collaboration process. Once silos are built up, the organization or team can become dysfunctional as people become sealed off from other areas where they could be gaining more knowledge or improving. For instance, our coding classes were very much a collaborative process, and this was encouraged by our professor. Often a particular assignment would stump a few of us, but someone who specialized in that are would come to aid. Eventually, that person ended up needing help themselves, so we applied those comparative advantages accordingly.
