Online application form followed by an interview with the store manager. It was a fairly casual conversation and I heard back within the next couple of weeks. Asked usual questions about why home bargains, what you know about the store, 'tell be about a time you showed X skill' etc. He made it clear they did not want a graduate who saw it as a temporary job

The interview was straightforward and brief, lasting around ten minutes. The questions were simple and focused mainly on my background and skills, making the overall experience quite relaxed and conversational.
