      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Hinge (New York, NY) in Jun 2026

      Interview

I interviewed first with the recruiter, who seemed distracted throughout the screen, but confirmed with me that he'd liked my resume and was just making sure I was who I'd said I was. Later, I had a great interview with the hiring manager, which I very much enjoyed. The HM was personable, friendly, and asked insightful questions. After this interview, I was asked to conduct a case interview. Scheduling this was extremely difficult, the scheduling software was unable to find a time where I could meet with the interviewers. The interview went okay, it was scheduled for one hour but the question asked was not extremely complex. The interviewers informed me the case was actually supposed to be 45 minutes, rather than 1 hour. They did not ask extending questions, and I finished the case in 30 minutes. At that point, one of the interviewers realized they had to leave and left early, even though they had not participated in the interview much to that point (they had barely spoken). After this third interview, a total of three interviews, the hiring team ghosted me. I did not receive any communication from them for two weeks. An automated email was sent asking me to rate my experience, which I rated poorly.

      Question 1

Pretend you are building an internal system that has been rolled out over the past six months and has reached 60% adoption. Can you increase adoption to 90% over the next two quarters?

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Hinge in Sept 2025

      Interview

The interview process was a great experience from start to finish. Everyone I met was communicative, warm, and genuinely invested in making it a two-way conversation rather than just an evaluation. I could feel the collaborative team culture in the way people asked thoughtful questions, shared their perspectives, and showed genuine interest in the company and its mission. The recruiter was also incredibly supportive and quick to follow up.
