The interview was great! A recruiter reached out and went over all the details and answered all questions. 2nd round was with a regional manager and they sent me up with a ride along. Told me I had the job they wanted me to joint the team and it was great. At the last minute they called and told me I was no longer a good fit.
They over promised me everything.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad the interview process and ride-along provided helpful insight into the role. We understand how disappointing a change in direction can be late in the process and apologize if expectations felt overpromised. We value this feedback and will use it to improve communication moving forward. We wish you the best in your job search.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Hibu (Manitowoc, WI) in Feb 2025
Interview
Several step process. First one with the recruiter then forwarded to HR at Hibu. After that I met with the area sales manager and had to do role playing for different situations to demonstrate sales and presentation skills.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
His main concern was how do I approach old accounts that have been ignored or forgotten, and how do I approach cold calling accounts. I described both and he was impressed.
Multiple rounds, ask you all of the basic questions you would expect. Person who interviewed me was incredibly arrogant and acted like this job was super special when in reality, anyone who made it passed 10th grade could do it. Interviewer was obviously a bully, and I wouldn't recommend applying. I can tell this arrogance is probably common for the employees there so I would stay away.
We appreciate you sharing your perspective. We’re sorry to learn that your interview experience fell short of what you expected. Our goal at Hibu is to create a thoughtful and professional experience for every candidate, and we take input like yours seriously as we continue to evaluate our approach. While our interview process is built around structured guidelines to support consistency and fairness, we understand it may not resonate with everyone. We wish you continued success in your career moving forward.
