I applied for 4 fall internships and only heard back from one. The hiring manager was respectful and responded in an appropriate amount of time, but I didn't hear anything from the other three. I submitted a tailored resume and cover letter and would expect at least a rejection email as a professional courtesy. I could see that they viewed one of my applications but still didn't say anything. Unprofessional and left a bad taste in my mouth.

Instead of a first-round interview for an editorial internship, I had to submit a pretty thorough edit test.
The interview process was so easy and efficient! A couple of phone interviews and then heard back a week after it. I ended up getting an offer to intern that summer and it was the greatest experience.
