I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at HCLTech (Bengaluru) in Feb 2021
Interview
Well initially there will be 3 rounds.First will be 1 on 1 Skype/google meet call where they will discuss about your candidature and will shortlist you.
Usually my recruitment agency told there will only 2 rounds 1 will be with HCL and another will be the Client (IBM) but this didnt happened for me that is the reason I giving worst experience.
As both my rounds got cleared I received email that I have been shortlisted and there can be HR round anytime. So I was waiting for their reply to release offer letter but very next day they told me there will a HACKER RANK test though she told me my shortlisting is confirm
I was like WHAT?
firstly you are telling me I have been shortlisted and next time you are telling I have to write the test.Writing test was not a problem but there was some issue to clarify I called a guy from HCL I cannot point out his name but he was an IDIOT he didnt had any ethics nor professionalism to interact with a candidate who is applying in his company.
He told me "I dont have spare time for you and I cannot give you a single minute"
So this was reply
I screwed that idiot like anything.

Dont think much about questions learn and interact with employees. Its bad company thank god I rejected the offer
the interview process is good. First round was face to face round and all othethe interview process is good. First round was face to face round and all others are virtual rounds. Communication with HR is good.rs are virtual rounds.
The interview process is quite confusing and unstructured. It starts with two technical rounds, followed by an HR round. However, even after the HR discussion, there is an additional manager round that is highly technical. The manager round is particularly frustrating, as it is initially presented as a 15-minute call but ends up lasting around 45 minutes, with questions asked in a rushed manner. Additionally, the feedback timeline is very slow, with about 10 days between each round. Because of these delays and the unclear process
Technical Round 1: Java fundamentals, Map concepts, and basic Spring Boot questions.
Technical Round 2: Java coding problems and problem-solving discussion.
HR Round: Behavioral questions, communication evaluation, and discussion about experience, expectations, and company culture fit.
