I applied online, bringing relevant experience from a direct competitor, so my skills closely matched the role. During the interview, the team provided a general overview of the company’s current challenges, introduced me to their software, and gave insight into their daily operations.
However, when I asked about a salary starting around $60,000—which aligns with industry standards for the role—the tone of the conversation shifted noticeably. Additionally, Gulf Eagle is very much a traditional, in-office company and not open to remote or hybrid work options.
This may be a good fit for someone who prefers an on-site environment and is comfortable with a more conventional workplace culture.
Lastly, they did the toxic ghosted me after the interview without a thank you email or explaining if the position was ever filled

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gulfeagle Supply (Tampa, FL) in Jan 2023
Interview
The interview was completed in person at the location being hired for the job. The hiring manager was on time. No other persons present for the interview. Clean orderly, and Friendly environment. Had an opportunity to walk around.
Very basic. Phone first follwed by an in person interview. Basic questions and very predictable. Interviewer made me feel at home , yet the conversation seemed less business and more social than expected. Fairly average process.
