I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Groundworks (San Diego, CA) in Apr 2026
Interview
I was reached out to by the company because of my extensive experience in sales. I went through 3 total interviews. The first two were a phone call then a zoom meeting. The third, I was instructed to memorize 2 different scripts about loving the company and the job as well as a what I was expected to do at the residence. I was then told after the interview that I did great and would hear about the offer 3 days later. I waited til the following Monday since I didn’t hear anything. I was then texted by the manager saying I was still in the list and they haven’t made a decision and that they should in a week. I followed up a week later and was sent to voicemail. I still have not heard back from them 2 months later.
Good job selling the company. Younger people are given opportunities for leadership which is a good sign. Interviewer made it clear there is a path for upward mobility, and you can move up as quickly as you learn.
They interview via microsoft teams. The interviewer was friendly and professional. The company itself seems legitimate and the job looks desirable. There was a ton of competition for the role. Good luck to any who apply. I have six years of sales experience and I didn't get it.
