At FundingPips, we value the time and effort candidates put into the interview process, and we’re continuously working to ensure clarity and structure at every stage.
In this case, we would like to respectfully clarify that a confirmed interview time was not issued, and as such, no follow-up preparation materials were sent. Our process for second-stage interviews involves aligning availability with multiple stakeholders, including members of the senior leadership team.
This is why we first request availability within a specified window, and only upon reviewing that availability we send further instructions and confirm the actual interview slot. These instructions include clear details of what is expected, especially as the second stage involves a job-related task presentation. Since no task brief or instructions were shared in this case, and availability was only requested, the second-stage interview had not yet been confirmed. This has caused the the clash of your arrival with confirmed candidate for that date and time. We tried to remain flexible and accommodate the timing since you have arrived but the scheduled interview with confirmed candidate took longer than expected.
We understand that the situation may have been misinterpreted, and we regret if it felt unclear or disappointing from your side. While we understand your concerns, we also emphasize the importance of mutual clarity and confirmation to ensure a respectful and smooth process for both candidates and internal teams.
