I applied online. I interviewed at Fortress Diagnostics (Antrim, Northern Ireland) in Aug 2018
Interview
Don't waste your time with a smaller version of Randox. I was interviewed for a position at Biorex which turned out to be part of this company. My CV was discussed and current salary asked. Was told I had no lab experience even though I spent 4 years of my PhD in a lab on a daily basis as well as industry experience. I was also told I was junior/ entry level and that as it was a "scientific lab" position my current salary was a lot more than you would get there. Job description asked for 1 year experience in R&D immunoassay development, yet when interviewed I was told they wanted someone with 3-5 years experience. Make your minds up as you both were not on the same page for the job spec. It has been 8 days since the interview and have heard NOTHING. I was told that I would hear back by the Monday. Waste of time. Looks like they have the same reputation as Randox.

Question 1
Was told that I was too junior with my level of experience. Spoke with a recruiter later that day who informed me that they are looking people from Randox to come in. My feeling is this is smaller version of Randox. Expect a salary of £25k max for someone with a PhD in life science.
