Beware of the US location!!! They will rescind your job offer if you ask too many questions and don't accept the offer right away. After going through 3 quick MS Teams interviews (3 different people all within 3 business days), I was verbally offered the position the following day and told they would "love" for me to come to work for them. The initial offer was within their very narrow, posted range but a little lower than I expected, considering I had significantly more experience than they were seeking. I asked for them to consider $2k more to reach the top of the posted range. I also asked very standard questions about benefits and benefit costs, PTO, their compensation structure, which they don't have so don't expect much more money than they initially offer, and work schedule in an effort to ensure a good fit for both of us. We discussed these briefly then was told to expect an email the following day with the written offer, employment agreement, and requested information. Instead, I got a phone call rescinding the verbal offer without any explanation whatsoever. While they have a right to hire who they want, I want to alert future applicants to what could occur. Everyone I interacted with during the interviews was very friendly, but they were quick to reverse their opinion about me and throw me to the side instead of discussing or negotiating details when I asked for more information about the position. Just saying, BEWARE!!!

Question 1
Some questions were skills related while others were not. They didn't breach the lines of illegal questions but were far more concerned about me being a "fit" within their 3 or 4 person management team and 13 person company than anything else. I guess I must have been a great "fit" until I didn't jump on the initial offer without question.
