I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Encompass Core (Santa Ana, CA) in Nov 2023
Interview
Initial outreach was done by EC, who I had never heard of. They invited me to an interview which I accepted out of desperation. Come time for a preliminary screening, it was a group call with someone from HR and five other candidates. It seemed very disjointed as there were too many people in the call and not enough time to sit down and thoroughly interview someone. After giving us only a few moments to speak our part about what we do, where we're from, etc., the gentleman explained the hiring procedure and the role breakdown. It's essentially a management trainee program where they frontload all of the information of a seasoned district marketing manager to people at the entry level. Starting out for approximately the first 4 months, if you're quick, it's all commission based on team metrics. Salaries don't start until the Assistant Manager position, which you won't qualify unless you can regularly hit a metric. Essentially, sell aggressively and convincingly enough, consistently enough and you'll be fine. Not sure how a day in the life plays out here entirely, but I doubt that many people stick around because they don't have extra time to invest in something that doesn't pay straight out of the gate.

Question 1
In the prelim, they asked: "Where I'm from, what's my work experience, when are you available, what do you bring to the table, and what are you seeking in a job."
During the second round on-site, it was basic questions like: "What do you know about direct consumer marketing, what does it mean to you, what experiences do you have that could prove your capability in this field, etc."

Interview
They did a zoom interview and then asked for an in person. The interview is easy and the process is like a day or so. I feel then they are greatly insulting, senior workforce by being deceptive in their job posting. Not only that their biggest clients are also the biggest clients of several other marketing companies and when I say several, I mean several at least seven other companies with the same contract. They basically want you to work at Costco or Sam’s Club little pop-ups and sell like DIRECTV and stuff like that I have 16 years experience with customer service. This was supposed to be an in office position and not commission but then the commission base for first couple weeks everybody starts the entry level that is insulting to those of us who are seeking a career, not a high school student at best! Did they interviewed declined and then they called me back for another interview and it literally says in office customer service representative, they lie! Wasted my time!!!
