Einstein Exchange interview questions

Had a skype interview with a recruiter. The recruiter seemed nice, asked some behavioural questions and a few more technical questions about some languages and personal projects. Overall, I thought the interview itself was quite pleasant. I was then told that I could expect to be contacted again early the next week (interview happened on a Friday). However, the week passed and no response. Sent two polite emails to inquire but both were ignored. The start date for the position has passed as well. The company seemed nice at first, but I am surprised they don't have they decency to send a quick rejection email or respond to my inquiries after the recruiter specifically said they'd be in contact with me.
