Effective Computer Solutions interview questions

Had an initial interview than a tech assignment which was fairly easy for a full stack dev with minimal experience. Had a follow up to demo the assignment and talk about next steps. Brought in for a 3rd meet-up where they showed me their stacks and projects and asked minimal questions. They ended up going with another candidate. Whole time I had good feedback and no negatives, and said I had great answers. They were not very upfront about pay range, and when I asked their range was pretty wide. When meeting the CEO in person they revealed they were base salery + project compensations, but still never told me what pay they would have offered which is a bit of a red flag IMO. Everyone was nice and friendly and I didn't feel pressured or intimidated. I would recommend finding out the salary expectations early on or telling them your minimum. Otherwise not a bad experience.
