I applied online and received an email about a month later. After that, I was asked to complete a questionnaire containing numerous repetitive and redundant questions. A few days later, I was scheduled for an interview.
About a month after the interview, I received another email apologizing for the delay and explaining that the hiring managers were busy with an event. I was then asked to submit the required documents. After waiting another month without any updates, I began following up, but I did not receive any response.
Overall, the recruitment process was disappointing and poorly managed. This is the first time I have encountered such a lengthy and unprofessional hiring process. There appeared to be little consideration for applicants' time and effort.
After several follow-ups, I was eventually informed that the position had been put on hold. However, I later learned that another candidate had already been hired. If the company had already identified a preferred candidate, it should not have continued advertising the position or requested documents from other applicants unnecessarily.
A more transparent and professional approach would have been to communicate the hiring status honestly and promptly rather than leaving applicants waiting for months without clear updates.
