I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at DriveRite Academy (Brooklyn, NY) in Oct 2024
Interview
After completing a video response, I received a call the next day, setting up an on-site with two individuals. One of which being the company founder. The interview was smooth and the interviewers took their time, not rushing me or the process. Once the introductions were finished, we settled into a pretty standard peppering of situational questions. The interviewers emphasized transparency and clear communication with their hiring process, leaving me feeling confident and hopeful of a quick turnaround. Much like the speed in which it took to schedule the initial interview. Before leaving, they asked for three references and they confirmed receiving them with a text later that day.
After a week, I followed up via phone call to check on the status of my application. I was answered with a text, telling me they will decide the following week (two weeks following my interview). I never heard back.

THIS IS AS FAR AS I"VE GOTTEN BUT THE HIRING PROCESS IS DEMANDING AND TIME CONSUMING AND THERE ARE SEVERAL STEPS AFTER THIS BEFORE YOU WILL EVEN GET HIRED.
THESE PEOPLE ARE TIME WASTERS AND THEY DON'T EVEN OFFER INSURANCE AND THEY ARE NOW A W2 COMPANY. BENIFITS SUCK.
It was a very comfortable interview process with the owner. The company seems to be very friendly and welcoming. This continues after being hired. They are wonderful and I enjoyed working with this company
