I went through multiple stages for a marketing role at Drimify, including a lengthy and detailed presentation task that took hours to prepare. During the final interview, the team gave positive feedback and said my strategy was fully aligned with their goals - yet I never received any response or feedback afterward. Not even a short courtesy email to close the loop. The experience felt like a real waste of time and showed a lack of professionalism. One of the co-founders also seemed far more interested in questioning my personal side project (which is clearly unrelated to the role) than discussing my work or ideas. It gave the impression that they’re suspicious of candidates who have any kind of independent initiative outside the company. They also mentioned expecting people to put in extra hours regularly despite the relatively low salary range. Overall, the process was disorganised and disrespectful of candidates’ time. Disappointing for a company that talks so much about creativity and innovation.
