Interview
Initial phone call that led to a take home test. Honestly, you're handing them ideas for free. A follow up interview with a team member would ensue but I didn't get to have that pleasure.

Question 1
1. Share your experience managing social media accounts for a business or group entity.
Let us know your depth and breadth of experience on this.
2. Identify two local restaurants for which you believe media content should be created
for. Pick restaurants you feel comfortable with addressing. Preference is towards
restaurants available on the DoorDash and the Caviar app (One on DoorDash, one on
Caviar) and have compelling stories.
3. Explain why you picked the restaurants you selected. Share your thought-process on
why you selected these two restaurants.
4. Please share the potential risks in selecting these two restaurants.
5. How would you gauge success in selecting the two restaurants?
6. Identify two local restaurants NOT available on the DoorDash/Caviar app, that should
be added to the platform and have short stories written about. One restaurant on
DoorDash and the other on Caviar.
7. Explain why you picked the restaurants you selected. Share your thought-process on

Interview
The interviewer had no questions prepared other than compensation, but was fairly thorough in giving a general overview of what the position would look like. When I gave him my preferred salary range, he said something along the lines of “That’s great. That’s right around what everyone else is asking.” However, a few days later, when he sent an email about the next steps for the interview process, he mentioned that the salary was actually $35,000 below what I had asked for and there was no room for negotiation. This may sound like I asked for a lot, but really the salary was just below even what I would expect from an entry-level job despite the position requiring 3-5 years of experience. I withdrew from the process.
