Lengthy time consuming process with slow communication, reference checks pre offer and conversely expect immediate acceptance of offer via email with no documentation or additional context
Overall a poor experience
5 steps, hr screen, vp interview, assignment, another interview then panel. I reached stage 2 and did not go forward. The interview with the senior person was a bit off, I read somewhere on here that he was bit dry and I found it was the same for me. I sensed a lack of interest and mechanical Q and A with no follow up or discussion. Halfway through the interview I sensed I might not enjoy the environment in this particular department. I suppose they felt the same since I did not progress. If you are going for the market research interview, ask chatgpt to go through each section in the job description (and there are a LOT of sections) and give you a script for how you would go about it. TAM SAM SOM, seasonality, Market sizing etc.
All in all I am not very dissapointed since this was a pivot for me and not my expertise. I find the job demands work in a lot of areas with salary mid 80s, but remote work. So basing off of your priorities, good luck felliw job seeker!
