I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Dimple Records (Sacramento, CA) in Mar 2019
Interview
Applied online Friday. Checked on my application that Sunday. Talked to employee who had me fill out an application, ask me some questions about availability, and then told he'd hand it to his manager and I should expect a call in the next couple days. I got a call the next day asking if I wanted an interview, which was two days later. Of course, I accepted.
Interview was pretty laid back and I didn't have as much to worry about as I thought I did. Anxiety disappeared relatively quickly. They asked me questions about past experiences at my other job, have I ever dealt with a coworker who I had trouble working with, if I'd be open to a management or some growth in the company later on down the road, to describe myself, and why I wanted to work there. But it sort of just became a laid back conversation and we got along really well. I left after about 30 minutes. I was given positive feedback and was told I'd hear by friday if I got it or not. Next day I get a call asking if I'd like the job, said yes. Orientation tomorrow.

I applied online. I interviewed at Dimple Records (Elk Grove, CA) in Nov 2013
Interview
They start off with the usual questions such as why do you want to work there and what are your interests, why would you be a good employee. Then they move onto a lightning round where they ask you various pop culture questions such as naming a bay area rapper or a Marlon Brando movie. Finally they conclude with telling you by a certain day and time if you got the job. They didn't with me, so call them back when the day comes.
