I applied through LinkedIn. Had a phone screen with the recruiter who then set up the panel interview. The interviews went well, everyone was very nice and asked great questions.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Digitas in May 2026
Interview
Following a recruiter phone screen, I had two sets of interviews with a total of three people. Everyone was friendly, but the needs of the role didn't match my expertise to the level they wanted, so I was turned down. A couple weeks later, the same recruiter invited me back to interview for the same title on a different account. I had three interviews with three people. They all seemed to go well, and once again everyone was friendly. They told me they were looking to move quickly, but a full week passed after my third interview without word. So I followed up with the recruiter, who promptly replied letting me know they'd hope to have an update for me within a couple of days and would get back to me then. Another week-and-a-half passed without word. When I followed up a second time, I was turned down again.
Though everyone was friendly, it definitely stung to be rejected twice, and after five interviews. But worse was being ghosted towards the end, despite all those interviews and the fact that they approached me to interview for the second role.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The first role was very influencer heavy, despite there being no mention of influencer marketing in the job description. So I was asked about my influencer experience quite a bit.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Digitas (New York, NY) in Feb 2025
Interview
It was easy, and I was put at ease with the interviewers. Very few questions, though, and went straight to the questions after only 13 minutes out of the 30 minutes I was supposed to be talking.
