I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cvent (Tysons Corner) in Jan 2014
Interview
Sit in a room for 3 hours while 4 duds continuously ask you "but why do you want to do sales?" to see if you're a "go getter" that won't take no for an answer. They fail to realize that after you've answered their question in 5 different ways you start making up answers to convince them of your worthiness, and technically that's exactly the skill set they want; someone who can BS their way into a sale. An honest answer of "I've already answered your question three times" doesn't fly.
