The interviews were fine, but it’s how long the process takes. I had eight interviews over the course of eight weeks, and was sent an auto rejection email at the end of it.
I don’t mind getting rejected, it’s part of the process. But spending two months to do eight interviews, for a job that’s not even a manager position… it felt like too much.

Question 1
System Design - If I pause at particular mark for a show, I should be able to see it in other devices starting from same point
The HR called me and explained the role, the interview process, and the types of questions that could be asked in each round.
**Interview 1 – Technical Deep Dive**
This round mainly focused on my current project work. It also included situational and behavioral questions around how I handled certain scenarios, managed responsibilities, and approached problem-solving in real work situations.
**Interview 2 – System Design**
In this round, I was asked to design a Play and Pause service for Crunchyroll. The discussion later expanded into its non-functional requirements, scalability considerations, reliability, and other system design aspects.
**Interview 3 – Cross-Functional Round**
This round was primarily scenario-based. Questions revolved around how I achieved outcomes in challenging situations, handled priorities and availability, and managed disagreements or collaboration challenges in my current role.
