Pretty standard process overall - recruiter screen, hiring manager interview with portfolio presentation. Except, the take home design challenge as the final round felt like they wanted a fully mocked up solution to their app. This is a waste of candidates time especially for senior/staff designers.

Honestly the process felt pretty disorganized and impersonal. Communication was inconsistent, and the interview didn’t feel like a real conversation so much as a checkbox exercise. They asked nothing about product design questions, and wanted fully mocked up solutions to their "interview exercise" aka, free work.
