      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Copper (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

Although I did not receive an offer from ProsperWorks, I was very impressed by the interview process. I had an initial phone screen with an engineer to learn more about the company and tell them more about my technical skills/background. I was then invited to an onsite interview. When I got to the office, I was greeted by a very kind recruiter who sat with me for a few minutes before the interview to ask me questions about myself and what I was looking for in a position. During the interview, I met with four people, about one hour with each person. The questions revolved around front-end design/architecture, general JavaScript knowledge, and one algorithm. There were no trick questions and the interviews were more of a discussion than a test. A few days later the recruiter personally called me to tell me they would not be moving forward. He took the time to highlight my positive qualities, and he encouraged me to apply again in the future. I think ProsperWorks really respects its employees, and I had an overall positive experience interviewing at the company.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Copper (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2021

      Interview

The first round was a phone interview with HR. She scheduled the second interview round the next day. I had an appointment so I asked her re-schedule the interview and provided availability . Most companies asked the candidate for their availability and schedule any interview rounds. Anyhow, kept me waiting for 3 weeks and never got back even after multiple follow-ups. I hope the HR keeps the candidate informed in the future. Don't waste your time to apply this company.

I am so sorry to hear you had a negative candidate experience. We truly do strive to be as communicative as possible with all talent during the entire interview process. We receive hundreds of applications daily and sadly, once in a while things may slip through the cracks and we sincerely apologize that you had experienced this. We will do our absolute best to avoid these things happening in the future and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
