Interview
The hiring manager called me for an initial call. He explained the product and ask for my background. It was a nice chat and he decided to not move forward my candidacy based on the fact that my knowledge is oriented to networking and storage and they need someone with more application experience. He was really nice, patient and straight forward.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Contrast Security (Los Gatos, CA)
Interview
Got call from HR from this company for interview and he mentioned whole process will take 5 weeks. Process was way to slow ,In 5 weeks they only took 2 interviews and then HR called me to tell that they got there candidate and cant move forward with me.
They already had few candidates who were going through process and at final stage of interviews.
What was need to reach out to new candidates and waste their time when selection was already done.
