The Lead Interviewer who "greeted" me was not pleasant. When I reached out to shake her hand, as a fellow professional, she raised her arm up stiff, elbow bent, as if to deflect me. It did not get any better from there. Her questions were interrogative; her comments on my ability to work with some of their proprietary software - borderline discriminatory. As I was getting up to leave the interview, she was already on her phone scrolling, apparently, through all of the important emails that she had missed while wasting her valuable time with me.
On the contrary, her fellow interviewer was pleasant, asked good questions, and spoke well about the company's policies and practices. Had THIS person been the only face that the company presented to me, I would have been upset that I was not offered the position. Instead, when the copy/pasted "turn-down" arrived in my mailbox, I was relieved.
