I was initially contacted on LinkedIn, and after a screening call with HR, the process was laid out: another intro call, a technical interview, a cultural fit interview, and then potentially an offer.
However, things quickly went off track. The next interview focused almost entirely on my university theses, with very little time spent on the actual role. We agreed to a follow-up meeting to really dive into the relevant topics.
From that point on, silence. My emails went unanswered, and on the day of our scheduled follow-up, I was completely ghosted. I tried reaching the interviewer multiple times, but got no response or explanation.
This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for a candidate's time is unacceptable. I'd advise others to be cautious and consider carefully before investing their time in this company's hiring process.
