I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Coniq (London, England) in Jan 2018
Interview
Applied via agency. Took a week from applying to attending interview. Although I stated have not worked in retail previously and it is not on my CV, they were happy to interview me.
One of the two interviewers was off sick and they didn't think to cancel the interview as the remaining interviewer was not comfortable doing it alone. Was surprised when I showed up and remembered the meeting, but interviewed me anyway to make like I hadn't wasted my time showing up. Interviewed me in a kitchen of a nearby hair salon where everybody who was hanging out was eavesdropping - like interviewing in a train cartridge. Booked for an hour I was given 20 minutes. Was informed next day that I did not get the job because of lack of retail experience - which I made clear before interview I did not have. A complete and total was of my time.

Question 1
Interviewer went painfully through the copy of my CV job by job. No questions at the end. Didn't ask me what I knew about the role, their company, products, industry or anything.
Apparently there was a technical/IT element to the interview but the interviewer asking those questions was off sick.
Thank you for the feedback, and apologies it has taken so long to get back to you on this. We have put a lot of effort into creating a more robust hiring process and ensuring interviewers are trained on our process and utilizing the right internal tools. Regards, Bruce [COO]
