I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Condé Nast (New York, NY) in May 2013
Interview
I was invited to a general recruiting session for post-graduates. Many other job-seekers were former interns like myself, though a few had been invited because of resume submissions. It was essentially a cattle-call and the interviewer I had treated me like I wasn't worth his time. He asked if I still spoke with my former employers (of course, I had) and why I hadn't reached out to them for job recs (again, I had). None of my answers were impressive to him and he rarely even looked me in the eye. He was rude and honestly makes me want to turn my back on the company every time I consider applying for a position.
I applied online. I interviewed at Condé Nast (London, England)
Interview
Don’t think they know what they want. The interviewer sounded clueless and didn’t really know what to say to my answers. Very dull. Also bad reviews from friends who work their, lots of layoffs and not much career progression

Why Conde Nast
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Condé Nast (New York, NY) in May 2019
Interview
Because the position reported to three different editors, I first interviewed with each by phone, and then in person. This was followed by a fairly long edit test that asked about story heds I would edit, writers I'd like to see writing for the magazine, and stories in the media I've found to be important recently.

The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Condé Nast (New York, NY)
Interview
I met one-on-one with someone from HR; then applied for a couple jobs at the company; then was asked back for round one with this specific brand, meeting two people; then was asked back to the brand again for two rounds of interviews, one with a panel of editors and one with the EIC. Overall, three trips into the office for meetings.
