I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CoStar Group
Interview
I went through 3 interviews before being required to give a PP presentation. The deck was given to me less than 24 hours prior to the expected presentation which was expected to be customized . I was working a full time job and also had other interviews lined up that I was preparing for. I gave the presentation to a VP and peer. I spoke with the VP afterwards who said “If you get the job this doesn’t mean that you’re hired. We would reassess after 90 days” which was a huge turnoff. I had a steady job, other interviews in the works, and I didn’t want to join your company for a “trial run”
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CoStar Group (Richmond, VA) in May 2025
Interview
Hiring manager is very proactive and allows for smooth communications in between stages of interview process. Had a initial screening with recruiter, then a mock presentation to 2 executives, and final round was an in-person interview with a tour of the building.
It was fine. Not the hardest, but they expect you to do a lot of homework. Poor communication overall. Lots of waiting for updates. Lots of prep for interviews over an 8 week period. No real reason as to why they didn't extend an offer.

Had a great interview with them. They asked me questions at first then I got to ask them questions. They were very personable and easy to relate to. We were able to get a long very well.
