Was for the Civil Service Apprenticeship program, attended the Assessment day in Edinburgh. The structure of the assessment day is available on the website that you register and do the online tests on. When we arrived we were given a sheet with the competencies they were exploring in the strength based interview, and generally, already get access to couple pdf's online on the website with your account. Consisted of a Group Assessment (me and 3 other guys, was told they have up to 6 at once I think). There was then also a written assessment and then a Strength based interview. All 3 stages were around 45mins I think. Was a half day, 830am till I think 12 ish, then I imagine there's a second group that would have there assesment day from 1pm-5pm. They take upto 6weeks to get back to you, I'm still waiting lol
