      Engineer Interview

      21 Jan 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Ceres Power

      Interview

3 Stages interview and Ceres Power was full of lies. They told me that they don't want to waste time on candidates who aren't genuine and not interested in the offer at the end of the day according to their experience. The process took 3 months and wasted my time when I was being genuine from the beginning. Horrible experience and I feel like I was being used and mislead.

      Engineer Interview

      15 Sept 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Horsham, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ceres Power (Horsham, England) in Jan 2020

      Interview

Contacted by a recruiter, based on previous experience. The interview questions were largely off topic. I was interviewed by 3 people. The head of engineering announced he had to leave part way through the interview. He was very unwelcoming throughout the process. The role was for a senior position but the salary was graduate level. At the end of the interview an HR representative came in, she was welcoming we discussed details. Sadly I never received any feedback, but would have struggled to justify a move to this company based on the poor execution of the interview.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Was asked to draw a schematic of a swimming pool heating system, even though this had 0 relevance to the job I was being interviewed for.
