My interview was at 1:30. I got there early, walked in around 1:15. The manager who was interviewing me wasn't even there. I was asked to sit on a bench in the shoes area by the employee, who I later found out was a key holder, to wait for my interviewer to arrive. It took her about 15 minutes to get to the store, another 10 to "get organized" before she even came and introduced herself and asked me to follow her. We went into the store room and sat at a small desk where she asked my name, phone number and if I knew anything about Catherine's. I told her that I didn't because I thought the location was fairly new, turns out they aren't, but they are rebranding which is "probably why you even know they exist now." She told me a little about the store, before asking where I went to school and what I was studying. I barely got to finish my major before she started talking about her cousin who is in the field and other things, which is totally fine, I mean networking, right? She then went on to tell me about the employee discount, which is AMAZING for us bigger girls (Look for the Benefits, I'll explain there), the hours I would be working (This position is only allowed a MAXIMUM of 12 hours a week from Corporate, there is nothing she can do about that) After that she told me that there were some more forms to fill out after the interview and I should be checking my email for them because they are all online, but she "informally offered" the job to me right there.
All in all it was a fairly easy interview. It all depends on who you interview with, but I was barely asked anything before getting an informal offer that I will most likely accept and just find some supplemental hours somewhere else.
